Power

GA500 - Options

Power options are add-on devices that can be used to help increase power factor, improve harmonics, and dissipating regenerative energy.

Power Options
More Information

Reactor

  • Improves the drive input power factor.
  • Prevents damage to the drive when the power supply capacity is large.
  • Decreases harmonic current.
  • Improves the power supply total power factor.

DC Bus Reactor

  • Improves the drive input power factor.
  • Prevents damage to the drive when power supply capacity is large
  • Decreases harmonic current.
  • Improves the power supply total power factor.
EMC Filters
Provides electrical noise mitigation on the input side of the drive.

10% Dynamic Braking Resistor Options
Dissipates the regenerative energy of the motor and decreases the deceleration time (10% Duty Cycle). The unit contains a thermal overload switch.

3% Dynamic Braking Resistor Options
Dissipates the regenerative energy of the motor and decrease the deceleration time (3% Duty Cycle). Installation attachment required.
D1000 Regenerative Converter
The D1000 is a high-performance converter with very low harmonic distortion (approximately 5% THD) and is designed to facilitate IEEE 519 compliance requirements. The DC5 handles both motoring and regenerative power from the drive.
R1000 Regenerative Converter
The R1000 regenerative module is used to divert energy generated by the motor back on to the line for use by other loads. The energy is directed back onto the line by taking DC voltage from the drive running the motor and converting it into a three-phase AC voltage waveform.
Single Phase Converter
The Single Phase Converter is used in single-phase to three-phase conversion applications to eliminate drive derating. The Single Phase Converter significantly reduces stresses on the power grid with near unity power factor and less than 10% iTHD.
