SGT Sigma Trac - Sigma-7 - YAIMOB
Integrated slide with iron-core coil and magnet track components
The SGT Sigma Trac is a legacy product and no longer promoted in the Americas. The Sigma Trac SGT was a series of linear actuators designed to reduce the work and unknown costs often involved in implementing linear motor technology into automation machines. Factory assembled to a precision aluminum base, Sigma Trac SGT delivered an uncompromising linear motor performance in a bolt-on, plug-in package. Automatic motor recognition meant the start-up of the Sigma Trac was as quick and easy as a rotary servo system. Sigma Trac is well suited for single-axis point-to-point applications or for use in coordinated motion applications, faster cycle times are the common result. Speeds up to 5 m/s and acceleration up to 5 g were possible.
