The P7/Bypass package was a 3-contactor style bypass, allowing motor operation from either the drive or across the line. This facilitated drive maintenance while the motor continued to operate. The P7 and P7/Bypass were designed for flexibility in providing the features and options commonly demanded by facility designers.
