Question: | What are the options for providing Sigma III (SGDS-***12A) Mechatrolink II ServoPack units with absolute encoder battery back-up techniques? |

Answer: | Unlike Sigma II (SGDH) ServoPacks units, there are no provisions for the battery to be placed in the ServoPack. This leaves three basic options. See the attached .PDF file for information and diagrams detailing the three options. |
